Teimour Radjabov enlisted his first win and Boris Avrukh suffered first defeat after extremely complicated middlegame in Sicilian Scheveningen. Avrukh eventually forgot about the King's safety and resigned after Radjabov offered devastating Rook sacrifice. Alexander Motylev lost his third consecutive game, this time by hands of Judit Polgar. 29...e5! proved to be decisive breach.
