Stelios Halkias and Alexander Graf shared first place in Kavala Open

The exceptionally strong Kavala Open 2008, with more than 20 Grandmasters, took place from 30th July to 7th August in Kavala, Greece. The local chess community is delighted that Greek Grandmaster Stelios Halkias took the trophy on better tiebreak after sharing the first place with GM Alexander Graf. Last year winner was GM Ivan Ivanisevic.
