GM Etienne Bacrot proved one more time he is in top form after he won the Aeroflot Open that concluded this Wednesday in Moscow. Bacrot collected 6,5/9, the same points as the second GM Moiseenko, but better tiebreak gave the French GM the first place. Third place was GM Jinchao Zhou, again on a tiebreak ahead of six other GMs.
IM Tatiana Kosintseva won the top woman prize. She scored 5,5/9 to finish 10th place shared and grab a GM norm. The only game she lost was to the top junior prize winner GM Wesley So.

The winner Etienne Bacrot is working during the championship
Next to him are GM Vladimir Potkin (7th with 6,0/9 and no loss) and GM Sargissian (5,5/9 and no loss)
Many draws left GM Akobian with 4,0/9. His draw against Naiditsch and the victory against Rodshtein are noteable achievements
Wesley So, who provided fighting spirit in each game and deserved the good performance. For those that followed the live coverage with Chessdom that is no secret.
After a good start Mamedyarov pulled out due to suspicions for opponents cheating
The Moscow open winner could not repeat his performance and finished in the lower part of the table
GM Vitiugov had a stable performance, proving he is one of Russia top players
Sjugirov vs Robson
watch out in the future for those two players
Safarli and Mamedov, both came for more, but cannot be disappointed with their performance
Congratulations to IM Kosintseva for her GM norm!
