Houdini leads with perfect score the TCEC Season 3

Rybka slips to shared 6th

Houdini 1.5a leads with perfect score the TCEC computer super chess championship season 3 with 4,0/4. It defeated Boot 5.1, Sjeng c’t 2010, Rybka 4.1, and Ivanhoe B47cB.

Rybka 4.1 had a draw in round 2 against Spike 1.4. That paired the program against Houdini, and after losing the game Rybka 4.1 slipped to shared 6th in the standings with 2,5/4. Shredder is currently second, while Stockfish, Hiarcs, and Spark share the 3rd position

Houdini was winner of season 1 and season 2, and even though the Houdini 2 version is several months from release, the domination of the caomputer engine is obvious.
