Norway is preparing to attack top positions at the Chess Olympiad in Dresden 2008. This week the team composition has been made public. The team will be led by the "unofficial" top 2 in the world ranking list, GM Magnus Carlsen. He will be accompanied by GM Simen Agdestein, GM Kjetil A. Lie, GM Leif E. Johannessen, and IM Jon Ludvig Hammer.
The women team of Norway for the Chess Olympiad will include WIM Ellen Hagesæther, WIM Sheila Barth Sahl, WFM Silje Bjerke, Katrine Tjølsen, and Line Jin Jørgensen.
The players have 2 weeks to confirm their particiation, but if this is the final team composition we will see the strongest ever Norway participating at the Chess Olympics in Dresden. Full information and reserve players at our good friend's site http://www.bergensjakk.no/
